     You may have come across chiropractors, either personally, or via advertising materials, who have presented information that was peculiar, irrational, or not clinically grounded. I sympathize with your aversion to this. Within chiropractic, there is a growing divide between those who choose evidence based and outcomes based practice, and those who continue to adhere to 100 year old, dogma. These fringe practitioners promote concepts that have no validity or clinical rationale. This is a problem within my profession. Sadly, being kept out of the medical system, combined with narrow and unfair reimbursments of the 3rd party payor system, fosters this behavior. Thankfully, a growing number of chiropractors are maintaining high clinical standards and are integrating into mainstream healthcare.
